I see two possible options:

• She folds like paper and things are saved at the last second by someone else (Hinata?)
• Her mind rechanges once again and we get a new personality, closer to our desires Yuri council (Hot and cold yuri? I would like that, but a yandere one is fine too).

The man is commited to do the best possible roleplay of the scenario. I need to give Kisa-sensei credit in that, Sou-kun shows time and time again he is a genuine nice person who wants the best.

Prediction. Yuri goes almost catatonic, mumbles out the correct answer as had been drilled in during classes. Probably something like securing the area, giving space but continuing to provide overwatch and be ready to intercept anyone who attempts to move in close.
It gets mistaken by the class and teacher as Yuri perfectly tanking the emotional hit of the roleplayed rejection and playing things out properly, possibly in the future resulting in Yuri being upgraded in class rank to the guard team (plus consequences)

Anyway, I'm thinking how do solo guards work. From what I picked up, it's basically marriage because no woman would want to share their man if possible (but multiple wives are socially acceptable in this world), so they'd rather be their wife AND personal guard.

Sort of a lazy answer but I always figured that the government pays for a lot of this.

I can't remember off-the-dome if this world has payment incentives for female births but I'm pretty positive it does for male births at least. I think that goes part of the way towards explaining how the Satou's can live so comfortably despite being raised by a single mother. I think it's very likely Sou will have some form of safety net his entire life simply due to being a man that'll make it impossible for him to ever live uncomfortably no matter what he does.

I also think bodyguards are government employees 1. Because I don't think any family would ever pay to have another woman spend time around their man 2. Because I don't think the training for private contractors would be structured like a public school you have to go through as an adolescent. So, I think when you register as a bodyguard-wife you aren't being paid by your husband, and you aren't paying yourself, you're being paid by the government to take legal protectorate of that man.

I think that's why being a bodyguard-wife seems so attractive. You game the system in such a way that the man gets paid just for being a man. You get paid just for being his wife. You both get paid for having children. You're being paid for nothing except being a reproductive-age couple. Which, to be fair, is a very rare thing in this world.

And then if that isn't enough income, or some of those things aren't actually applicable, I don't think taking a second job is considered a big deal. All a bodyguard does is protect a man while he's out in public. Which would be considered the normal responsibility of a wife anyways. In Kana's fantasy when she blacks out after being hand-fed it's deliberately structured as a conversation between her and Sou when she comes home from work. She works a second job in her own fantasy.

I think the only way Yuri can recover from this is if her Miku cosplay alternate personality takes over and continues the scenario in her place. If any of the other alts takes control she'll end up expelled
