That one was extremely important for Yuri's standing with Sou himself - he already trusts Yuri a great deal, but Sakura is Sou's little angel. He's an Imouto-con and dotes on his little sister all time, spoiling her rotten. Getting close to someone who Sakura disapproves off? Yeah, right - not happening. But Yuri got green-lit.

The same goes for Sumire. She would never hand over her position as Sou's protector to a random bitch and by calling Yuri the family's break-water she told Yuri to protect Sou in her (or rather the whole family's) stead. Coming from Sumire who can send any of the girls other than Miku straight to the infirmary if she meant it? That's quite a lot. My pet theory on this is that Nee-san is still pretty pissed and said it like that to get back at Miku who is way to proud and confident right now... Yuri now has a rather troublesome Nee-san...

But the most important words are from Akane. She said "I entrust my son to your care"... she told that to Erika, in terms of work, but the more relevant thing follows after that. She also addressed them directly to Yuri... and by that Akane tells Yuri to take care of her son. That's what every girl wants to hear from her, like literally. In that world there's no bigger hurdle to overcome for woman than to get the mother of her love interest to say something like that. And Yuri got it.

I guess Yuri's first home visit with her newfound family isn't too far in the future.

At the Momozono's residence, later that day (names are not canon, but I'm rather fond of them):

Momozono Yui (Yuri's little sister): Nee-chan, I'm hungry... can you whip something together?
