One thing came to mind while re-reading it... I would adjust parts of the dialogue a bit:

Let Sakura say her friend (singular) will be coming over - and ask if it's okay for Sou to greet her.

Reason:
Sakura wouldn't tell Sou that multiple people come over when she invited just one person (namely Misaki)... Misaki's gender doesn't need to be mentioned, it would be clear from context - I mean, Sakura might omit that her guest is a female friend but in that kind of world it can only be a girl. No way Sakura would have a male friend visiting her.

Not really? People who haven't read the source series (perhaps because they prefer full-color over black and white, and this was their first exposure to this manga) and don't visit these forum threads are gonna be confused later, since they're currently expecting Sakura to have invited multiple friends instead of just one.
