Higurashi, fml that was series I tried to get normies into anime with. Had about 10 pple with the first episode, only 3 after the opening scene.

Thank god, the first anime I saw and shown my family was 'Ah! My Goddess!!'.
Why I saw it? Well I new to anime, and just found the downloading site having all anime. In the list of all anime, it was the first 'Ah' comes very early in alphabetical order. I was lucky in that.

I belong to old generation of first time watcher, my first anime were Inuyasha, Fairly Tail, Ah! my goddess, Kitman reborn. "Rosario to Vampire" was my first harem anime. Soon I learned not all anime can be shown to anybody.

I am personally of the opinion that the door was quite nicely depicted.

The handle even looks like it would make a satisfying sound upon turning.

And since I'm not familiar with Japanese housing, I have to say that's an interesting looking latch as well; I can definitely picture myself fiddling with it for an extended period of time even.
