Back to Koumi & Mizuho after some time. It seems to me that guys in this world aren't really that athletic given that Koumi was concerned about the speed of the pitches. I assume she doesn't know that he plays basketball on his free time but I imagine it would worry her again. Poor Mizuho, she's such a great friend & it will be heartbreaking for her when she learns the guy that helped her was Masato. Next chapter will be doozy for her & I'm not looking forward to that. Nah the guys in this world have the same physicality of our world that's why they are shocked but not overly when women/girls see someone as athletic as him it's more that since men are the minority here most won't want to do anything too taxing on themselves making a lot of men in this universe lazy, but not weak

I disagree, she had at least 1 male senpai in her club that rudely rejected Mizuho, I just think he probably doesn't talk about the fact he exercises much because she gets weird when he talks about girls and he plays basketball with one. This isn't 1:39 where the guys can't leave the house without getting raped so they become shut ins.

I wonder when the author will stop adding girls to the mix.

All 5 of the girls on the chapter 1 page 2 double spread have been introduced so whilst more female characters may be added (like with the basketball game) I think he is probably done on the love interest part

Just curious, since I haven't seen the original Japanese raw, but wouldn't the dialogue in the first panel on page 24 make more sense if it's the other way around? That Koumi introduced Mizuho to Masato because Mizuho had found her "fated person"? It's almost literally what Koumi tells Mizuho on chapter 7 page 7 before she introduces the two of them since Mizuho has found someone she feels this strongly about, and thus shouldn't latch onto Masato.

I guess it could work the way it's translated. It's just that Mizuho has constantly been referring to her crush/secretly-Masato as her "destined person" since he helped her, whereas I don't recall Koumi having done the same.

Anyway, thanks for the translation work as always. Looking forward to how the manga continues to adapt the web novel. I don't think it'll be too much longer before things really start getting complicated, as if they aren't already...

I don't know how this series ends, but this could totally end up with two or three corses and it wouldn't feel out of place at all. It's pretty strange because on the surface this is pretty fluffy with the rather friendly, standard manga character designs and everything. No violence, no gruesome psychological stuff, no clearly insane characters. Yet more and more girls are falling for Masato, ever deeper and deeper, with no way out. How could they all possibly cope successfully with the ultimate resolution of not every one of them being able to end up with him? The longer they all postpone confessing to him, the worse it will get. Masato himself won't ever notice anything wrong, so he will keep treating them like princesses (in a figurative, positive sense), unlike any other guy they could possibly encounter in that world.
