The problem is that almost everyone he knows has been preventing him from experiencing any danger. A boys bar would obviously not allow any dangerous clients, and certainly has security, not to mention the owner being protective of him. At school, he has the constant bodyguard known as Koumj. The only real experience so far he's had with reality was with the little girl, so if anything that's only made him more wary of her, not women in general.
That would mean that he's utterly oblivious of everything and everyone around him, then.
I admit it might be presumptuous of me, but I figure the average person has some degree of awareness of the world around them as they move through life, including of those things that don't directly impact/affect them in the moment.
Even if he's being constantly surrounded by at least one of the five heroines and/or his landlord/employer, just being out and about, he should be able to see the differences in how people interact with respect to gender compared to his previous world. To notice nothing at all, belies a degree of ignorance on his part that kinda destroys any suspension of disbelief on my part in him being a realistic person, and makes me care that much less about whether or not he'll safely navigate the situations he finds himself in - because it doesn't look like he cares enough to pay attention, when he's now existing in an different universe.
And, whether or not he's being sheltered & shielded doesn't really factor into my larger initial point, which is that his behavior was shown to be detrimental even in his original world. Yes, the potential for problems has only increased here, but he'd already decided that he'd still act this way after losing his latest relationship, and that was before he got Isekai'd. Now, it just might cost him more dearly.
