Honestly, all I'm reminded of is that 1:39 women world. It's bizarre and yet somewhat more realistic to a certain extent? Polyamory is expected, Lesbians are acknowledged (in that most have never had any contact with a man, so most women don't even realize that they could be straight), and honestly, it's just played up for laughs, so it's funnier with such a dense MC. Who, in canon, acknowledges that he chooses the more ignorant option, because the idea that every woman, including his family, wants him to breed will change him irrevocably.
It's the same idea just taken to a natural extreme, and so it's... just sort of more fun to read? I do like this other version, though, even with however much melodrama there is.
At the end of the day, both are just based on the idea on "There's women surrounding me, they all want to breed me, oh the horror," so it doesn't matter why they're stronger, they are. That's the point of the genre.
