honestly, i dunno how this is gonna go in the future for Himari, we all know she's...well, the first heroine, so who the hell knows, and I don't need spoilers on that xD.

BUT, for the moment, this is satisfying to see, and I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but god damn she's been so dishonest and borderline sabotaging the other two, so half-assed about all this and it got a bit insufferable, to the point that I don't even want her to win at all. People said the character is gonna get better but until then, I'm glad she got some reality slapped into her lol.

Being pretty honest, even if she does get better I still wouldn't want the MC to get together with her. She's deceiving and immature, I know they're high schoolers and all, but Enomoto seems more appropriate and she's at least more honest with her feelings.

Their friendship is more important than anything and theyre trying hard not to cross the line because of how important it is. Thats why she was fighting for the status quo and he was maintaining it. Have you people not had romantic feelings for a close friend? This is how it is. You may tease or joke with them but committing to it is painful because although you want to move forward with a closer relationship... Your friendship is more important and you dont it to be taken away.

Sorry i misread, in chapter 4 p 6 it's said that she used to date makishima dude, probably before she met mc since she didn't have her chocker in the flashback

I think that's had the opposite effect to what you intended, you've just cemented the fact that I am not continuing with this manga past this chapter lol.

Sample size of 1. It 100% did not work out for me, ruined the friendship, big regret. It can work, and is amazing if it does, but sometimes people are just incompatible romantically.

Yes and no. She went out with the more persistent suitors, but they all gave up within a few days because the only thing she talked about was Yuu. But she could never admit to herself that she wanted him for herself because she didn't think she understood what love (as opposed to a really, really, really, really strong friendship) was.
