BUT, for the moment, this is satisfying to see, and I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but god damn she's been so dishonest and borderline sabotaging the other two, so half-assed about all this and it got a bit insufferable, to the point that I don't even want her to win at all. People said the character is gonna get better but until then, I'm glad she got some reality slapped into her lol.

Just binged through the manga.

First few chapters really captivated me, since Himari was so straightforward and had really good chemistry with Yuu. The introduction of Ennamoto kind of ruined the whole thing because of her 'dumb' personality. I feel like this story would have benefited massively from all three leads being emotionally intelligent. However at that point the story would basically be White Album 2 (not that I would complain, we need more love triangles where everyone knows what's happening)

This last chapter is refreshing, since it again delved a bit more into Himari's psychology. It's the strength of this story that there is some serious exploration of the love triangle dynamic. The issue is that the author has way too much overly-silly fat all around the more interesting bits.

Granted, this is just a complaint of target audiences. I get that for teens this sort of pace is more aligned. It's just sad we don't have many stories that focus more on breaking the whole construction down a little and analyzing it.

I do think it'd be a war crime if Ennamoto won the triangle just because the character is so painfully one-dimensional. The author clearly is most interested in Himari and her own drama, but then again, maybe they're a sick bastard who wants to analyze how such a character would suffer when losing haha...

This really does remind me of School Days. Himari played stupid games, she got stupid prizes: made the promise two years ago, made getting into a relationship a joke, skinship was the norm, and even pushed Ennochi to interact with him.

She did nothing extraordinary when testing the waters, and hurt herself as a result. There's no tragedy or drama tag, so it'll probably won't be too heavy; but I do wonder how the dynamic will shift given how the people around them already treat them as a couple.
