Yes, most likely due to the space between the foreground text and the background shadow being too big. If they are a lot closer as some parts are then they aren’t bothersome.

the two main characters are insufferable pricks, himari is a boil in the buttock and yuu is beyond being dense(usually dense MCs are not actively pricks, just passive) he's a right narrow minded prick.
