I'm intrigued, but only because I know that if this happened to me, I'm not sure how I would react in the MC's place, almost exact same world, just higher ratio between here and there... How does the MC relate to me, is what I want to know, and Chapter 1 is just the first drop in the bucket for me.

I'm pretty sure there is a manga like that...yep, I'm the Main Character of a Harem Manga, but I'm Gay so Every Day Is Hell for Me! It's not quite the same as being Ace, nor is the gender ratio a big enough deal to mainline in the title, but it's a similar idea.

i remember this one nice also yeah when it comes to some niche ideas you gotta be willing to be flexible.
even worse is when you do find something that fits your niche and it ether gets abandoned or the niche is background noise that occasionally pops up.
one of my favs is the two bodies one soul idea which iv only found one ehhh manga and one abandoned fanfic that did it

Yeah? That is an interesting idea, and I can't say I've seen it explored a lot either.
A friend of mine is planning out a story with a whole race like this, though they're not the main focus of the story. They've got a daytime soul and a nighttime soul, and it's not just eye color and clothing preference that changes, for this species the body is very much a plaything of the soul, as they can swap genders when one soul sleeps and the other awakens. Like, you go to sleep with your wife, and then your body wakes up as a woman to go work at the textile shop for the night, waving goodbye to the blacksmith they always wake up beside.
It's wacky, and I'm not explaining it perectly, but I can't wait to see the final product when he releases it.

while the premise is very similar, i think 1:39 dives much more into the societal aspect of what it would be like if the gender ration was THAT skewed. especially in recent chapters where its revealed the women go through visual image training where they create tulpas to deal with the overwhelming desire to breed. 1:5 is more like an excuse to have a mid guy get 5 girlfriends at once. both are fine but i really like the non standard and chaotic format of 1:39.

So this one the girls seem more sane, if not pretty pushy with that one lady. But pretty proactive, guys pretty chill and an excuse to be around him? Take it right away. And the guys in this one seem to have a sorta higher standing than the ones jn the 1:39 one.
The 1:39 one the girls are outright unhinged with dudes being fearful of em. Either way both seem like they're fun reads, this for having more sane characters (probably) and the other of the hilarious deranged writing.
