This one has 4 volumes, not 3, so that idea isn't really applicable here.
According to novelupdates, the light novel is on hiatus at 3 volumes. we def won't cover all of that in 4 manga volumes, but it could just mean either it wasn't super popular or just the author didn't wanna continue it
