@givemersspls I think it probably doesn't translate that well. When Yuuta-senpai asked if Riku went to Tochigi, he meant the city/prefecture Tochigi and Riku replied, nope, he didn't go there (because the festival he went to was at Tochigi Industrial High School instead, which is not necessarily in Tochigi, but only has a similar name).

...I think anyway. Could be wrong, the kanji on the box is the same kanji for the prefecture shrugs.

There is nothing complicated about this. Tochigi is the name of a prefecture. They went to a Tochigi industry festival, not the Tochigi prefecture or Tochigi Industrial High School . The festival was organized in the same city that the boys lived by a company or the city. The festival sells foods and specialties from Tochigi for the people that don't have time or money to actually go visit the prefecture hence he got the manjuu from Tochigi but didn't actually go there.

A similar example would be Japan Fair in the US where they sell foods imported from Japan so we can buy them without actually go to Japan.
