Yep if this was realistic, she would already be in custody of the police. Not identifying self, stalking a boy, no way it would just be dropped like nothing.
I have no idea why MC just rolls with her, not even trying to press on her. Sure she helped him, but it's all just so suspicious. For all he knows, she could have borrowed that money to his parents earlier, kill them later and then spread the tale of saviour sister to get him.
