Well, I asked on MD's Discord and was told that it's a very fuzzy line, but mostly stems around the Plot-to-Porn ratio. Since there's no bad juju from reporting a title - so long as it's not to be trollish or anything like that - I went ahead and reported it.

Aaaand the report got rejected. So "Erotica" it remains.

Erotica/smut is basically legalized porn, meaning no visually-visible pussy and dick. Cum optional. Usually no cum-covered girls. Usually more emphasis on the story.

Pornographic is straight-up hentai. All the dicks, pussy, and cum-glazed horniness. Usually more emphasis on THE SEGS.

But it is a fairly fine line.
