Nice chapter tho! I think the editor saw potential in this series and decided to let the story hit a longer, more meandering route instead of just him falling in love with the Fmc, them ending up together somehow and having to finish the story early. Plus i think Akito is adorable

I know people are still angry over the retcon, but for me, Akito is the best thing to happen to this manga. Watching Gotou get constantly rebuffed by a girl with over a dozen casual sex partners and his incessant simping over her got old very quickly. In an ideal world, he and Akito would begin dating in earnest, but we know he still likes Agawa and this decision was based purely on lust. Even if he never falls for poor Akito, maybe Agawa should be the one experiencing jealousy for a while.

I was wondering why that last one looked so out of place compared to the rest since the others covered the genre appropriately. No disrespect to that artist but that one really didn't fit in with the other guest artists' art.
