Oh my god i was right, the drama did deepen. First, WHO TF IS KAWATA!? and how does he know Akito? From what we saw im not sure if she (Akito) was telling the truth or not. whoever Kawata is, it looks like he asked her out, and i guess she rejected him, but she told the others that they talked about baseball. My mind started running the moment i saw that, and a question popped into my head, it may be a rather creepy question to others, but i still think its worth mentioning. Was Akito a virgin when she did it with Gotou? like was that confirmed or did we, and by extension Gotou just assume she was? My mind is racing now, because like WHO TF IS KAWATA!?
Second. I may not want Akito to be with anyone else, atleast not corrupted the way some of the girls in this series are, but HOLY, Gotou pmo this chapter, Like why reject a relationship with her after she just let it be known that she likes you. He also didnt want to make it seem like they were just hooking up which can be seen as him just trying to protect her reputation, but the way he just handled everything can easily lead to him losing her. He wants to make it seems like they are good friends, plus he grovels and begs for help with his impotence, not from Akito, but from a completely different girl who pretty much despises him. Pathetic is the only way to describe it, but I guess we already knew Gotou was pathetic all along
While the whole Akito and Kawata thing has me a little on edge, i'll admit that this new drama thats ensuing is quite interesting. im once again interested, yet nervous for what about to happen in the following chapters. The very last page of the manga with Akito looking shocked is very telling. Almost as if its her reaction to what Gotou just did in the page before. I feel bad for her, and pissed at Gotou (AND TAKEDA). I dont see this ending well and i think Takeda is finally about to write some crash and burn situation here😭
