I wonder if Agawa seeing this is going to force her to actually confront how she feels about Goutou or maybe it could reinforce the idea that their relationship should be purely sexual and Goutou somehow has to convince her that he's romantically interested in her and fight his sexual frustration. One thing I can say for sure is that this is gonna make things interesting.

Author rewrites story to make protagonist commit a dumb mistake. Everyone hates it. Protagonist then vows to never make the same mistake, hinting at redemption. People are skeptical. Protagonist fumbles it anyway because ??? (author can't help being a gooner I guess), proving people were right to be skeptical.

I don't even know why this story exists anymore, it was supposed to be more plot driven story from the hentai one, but at this point there's less plot and more fucking than in hentai story. At least before re-write there was still some plot to follow.

I think that's part of the point - these are characters who are just discovering themselves. They assume something is part of who they are until a new experience shows them the world outside of their assumptions, thus inconsistencies.

The problem with that is you have to have consistent characters before making changes via the story. This author has re-wrote sections changing character's character Then has them change back to the original behaviors without writing any story setup and payoff for these changes. Inconsistent characters are a problem and this author seems to want his characters to be all things and nothing at the same time.

To be fair to Gotou, Akito may as well have held a gun to his head considering how hard she backed him into that corner.
Not only is he forcing himself to be loyal to a woman who is not even remotely loyal to him, but now the adorable childhood friend that he’s suppressing his attraction towards is literally throwing herself at him, telling him the things he’s been dying to hear from Agawa, and crying like the maiden she is.
It’ll be interesting to see how our eccentric author is going to steer things back to the status quo, but I’m guessing Agawa’s going to guilt him into it as much as Akito did here.
