Depends on if the future is deterministic or not. If that is the case, she can try all she wants, but the universe will bend over to make sure things happen the way they're supposed to, ie her husband WILL cheat, she WILL get sick, she WILL attempt suicide. It's like in the Time Machine remake movie, how the guy tried to save his wife multiple times, but no matter what he tried, the universe killed her in progressively sillier ways because she was meant to die, and there was nothing he was allowed to do.I don't know why she's afraid..she just saw her future..i.e it can be averted!

I dunno, I always believe our future ain't set in stone and if we ever see our future, it's one of many end destination. And yes, it is a comedy..her misery is funny to them..it's like when we watch a slapstick..the person's misery is our entertainment!Usually trying to change the future becomes a self fulfilling prophecy if you're not a time traveler/ in a loop lol but depends
Or a final destination style where alternate bad things would happen
Tho the title being named 'comedy' is messed up unless the audience are like misery/despair demons feeding on her negative emotions
