So VIRM still existed, but rather than being an actual threat they really did get their ass beat by the klaxosapiens? So all they wanted to do was a salty fuck you by blowing up the planet? I'll take it. And they survived. Thank god
not really. The anime is the original, the manga is an adaptation. bit ass-backwards from how it normally goes, but this kept the same story without the fluff and bullshit second half. No pregnancy shit, not loose ends, they actually fulfill promises, and have a happy ending with actual hope.
I much prefer this ending, but this was ver rushed. Wish we got to see more of 02 and mc after they remembered each other. Even the marriage they promised.
