I mean MC is an idiot for sympathizing with man eating monsters crafted from pure evil who exist to torture humans for all eternity.
Especially doing so within earshot of the insane blood thirsty cult that wants to exterminate them even if it kills all of humanity.
It would be like saying nurgle isnt so bad in front of the inquisition of Terra.
