That is one hella of an OP sigil, reviving a person albeit with limitations.
So Long is in Sailor team too, will he cooperate with Kaname though?

It's a healing sigil, not a reviving sigil. It looks like she can repair simple tissue like muscle and--with difficulty--bone, but not complex structures that are severely damaged as she could not revive his eye. He died due to the broken neck; with that fixed, he just needed to restart his heart, which they were going to do with the defibrillator, but as his quirk makes him a defibrillator, he did it himself. Had he been dead much longer, the decay would have been beyond her capabilities, as suggested by Long's comment about having a chance considering less than a minute had passed.

The self-revive thing seems outrageous unfair but can a dead person be revived anyway? I mean this is happening in real life, not virtual or magic related and it doesn't seem to be the case of clinical death. Well I guess there's some kind of mechanic of D-game there then?

And yeah, some pages do look really strange, I originally thought it be of scanlation fault though.

I actually expected the Americans to be pirates. The last page came as a surprise.

I wonder what happened to spinner boy to make him evolve from "spinning a ball pen" to "spinning people and heads".

@MavB_Ver If tissue damage is no issue, then yes it is feasible. The limiting factor is that most internal systems stop with the loss of nerve impulses. Most importantly the heart and lungs. Some cells can go a surprisingly long time without resupply from the bloodstream. However, the brain cells have high nutrient demands and will begin to suffer irreversible damage at around 5 minutes. Permanent brain damage will begin at around 15 minutes.

Coming back from "clinically dead" is not impossible. Depending on the situation, it can even be simple. I've been clinically dead, when my heart stopped after a bad reaction to morphine. It can definitely be done.

There have been some theoretical techniques for repairing extreme battlefield trauma around for a while now. Like deliberately stopping the heart to stop a bleed (internal or external) then restart it. Or for a damaged heart replacing it with a mechanical version and just injecting the make-up blood volume from packs. Once it starts beating the person should come back to life. There are many factors to make it unfeasible but it is all theoretically possible.

@Ovdose Chapter 63, page 22. I don't think you're wrong. Their Sergeant states that "It'll be difficult to lead the 'Pirate Team' to victory with just the five of us." Either this is a typo, or they really are Pirates. With the latter as actuality, this event just means the Pirate Team is more coordinated in terms of seizing the initiative, so they not only are attacking from the skies but they have at least five known traitors onboard the ship who are seeking to confuse the Sailor Team into defeat; even more so, the traitors were quick to already know the locations of all of the treasure vaults before even conducting an exploration - they knew where the bridge was and immediately went there.

On another note: It's kinda refreshing to see Oosako get a revive despite seeming like cannon fodder for Shigeo's reintroduction.

@DeusVult thanks for the detailed information. If you don't mind, may I ask some more? I'm particularly curious about the spinal cord damage in this case since his neck was twisted. Theoretically, can a person survive that much damage if he is instantly got cured later on?

If brain isn't damaged it can hold on 3up to 5 minutes (5-15 damage is spreading) and after 15 permanent.

And this girl sigli is restoration
She just repaired his body

So all that was left to do was restart his cardio neuronic system (sory for my vocabulary but i passed medical english on lowest grades posible, its about independent neurons in hearth which control hearthbeat)

You might not heard but heart transplantation was already done in 1967

As for spinal cord damage
Neural tissue have realy slow pace of growth (it grows with us throught our whole life)
And its regeneration is as much slow
Its posible but it involves many things and a lot of time
Thats why rehabilitation takes so long for people who got damaged in area of lower spine
In case of upper one , higher damage point is it gets worse (more neural links to reconect)

Posible forms of damage in this case are
-Riped neural cord
-neural cord got squezed during rotation and stop passing(low chances)
-In some cases simple pressure from shard of broken bone can gife you efect same as damaged neuron becouse it stops signal
And only 2nd is possible to reversal in easy way (well 3rd might need surgery)
In case of 1st it depends which of them was riped

Not to mention case when it heals but dont reconect :-/

Neck damage prety much puts you in bed for rest of life

Sory for lack of more info but it gets close to midnight in my time zone and im going to work early

I am just worried about the Ravens, especially Shuka and MC. I mean, they finally got together, and this manga doesn't really have death flags and if they do, it kinda subverts them in some way.

@Matixsb Although it's no use if you don't tag me (XD), thank you so much for the information you provided. To have knowledgeable people teach me what I do not know, it's an honour. I'm glad that I have asked it.

I'm clueless about things and even though I could have looked it up, I'm not sure where to start. Brief explanations like that are all that I need, thank you again and sorry for all the troubles.

@MavB_Ver TED. com is a good place for introduction to bleeding edge and complex issues for lay people.
