1. Create a new thread for any new issues that need to be discussed.
2. Put the topic of the thread in square brackets at the start of the thread title.
3. Do not submit reports that only partially fix an issue mentioned here - discuss and come up with a complete solution before reporting it.
4. Link the thread in the report, so staff can see the discussion.
5. If you've sent a report in resolving the issue, please post in the thread so other people don't do the same.
6. If you're reporting a change that covers lots of chapters, report it on the manga page itself - do not individually report chapters. Use the format "Vol X: Ch Y-Z" with a new line per volume when reporting bulk volume number assignments.

Prefix definitions:
Waiting for User: This is waiting for a specific user to claim the thread and look into it. Note that claiming a thread doesn't mean other users can't continue investigating the issue.
Assigned - In Progress: This is actively being worked on by a specific user. If you see this prefix, check the last posts in the thread to see what's currently being done. Don't accidentally work on the same thing as someone else and waste your time.
Stalled: Something is preventing this from being resolved.
Complete: This is complete.

A spreadsheet with "old chapter number" and "new chapter number" columns will work fine, paging @glad-barfs for input

@garagex probably not too late I suppose, but if not for future readers with similar questions: ideally these might be better off as separate sheets.

The usual main idea with these renumbering/split/merge requests: it shouldn't be too confusing & it should clearly state what needs to be done so that any future mod can instantly jump in, read the list of changes and apply the required changes (hopefully without any ambiguities)
