Agreed. Idk why its taking the form of prince boy when he mind-controlled him earlier. Feels kind of redundant, when he could simply put him under control again and cause chaos.

The point was more about how we don't need this demon to interfere, on any level; not that the way it interfered was lackluster.

Demons attacking during these festivals is always the dumbest thing.
"Let's attack the location where all the strongest people are all in the same place in order to give them an opportunity to team up against me, who is acting solo!"
But also, he attacked the wrong target. Because of how the barrier and stuff works, that attack against the winner was almost definitely offset by it. So the demon has effectively done nothing.

With the way the demon took on Heathcliff's appearance, it just handed the teachers and affected students the way to connect the dots, finding out Heathcliff wasn't himself when he rampaged before and finally blame it all on the demon.

But idk, the author may have some other BS planned instead.
