Yeah I feel like it would be better if the other characters look like normal slice of life but all the Kung Fu characters are drawn like how they were in the original HnK

It certainly was! There have been weird things here and there, but I'm stopping at Vol. 1, Ch. 9 on the grounds of joking about incest. That's gross and the Japanese are very cutesy about taboo themes, aren't they? This manga had a few moments though.
