Real talk. Does anyone else feel like the author is running out of ideas? They keep changing the rules and it always just kind of happens. It's not a natural progression of one thing to another. It's more like just swapping out one idea for another. Which is strange because the FIRST concept worked fine.

But then randomly it changed to an overly obvious commentary on the Youtube system that prioritizes subscribers. Which seems less fair in a life or death game since people can enjoy but just choose to not subscribe. We're never given a reason for the new system either it's just kind of there. But then it's gone after a single arc and we've swapped to what seems to be a rif on lets players? Which is fine as a concept but we're on our third version of Dead Tube with little reason the other two went away.

It would be fine if it progressed a little more naturally but as it stands it feels ... aimless. Like the author is just making stuff up at this point to keep it going because they aren't ready to end yet but they didn't actually plan this part of the story out in enough detail. It's like after the author murders the MC's family they weren't sure what to do next to top that.
