This is gorefest done right
The manga keeps you interested
Love that it has good lore
Unlike "the painter" analog horror where in that the gore feels pointless
In this the gore makes sense and it has decent lore its a good read honestly fully recommend

This shit is AWFUL, but I read every single chapter over the course of the last two weeks and am greatly anticipating the next chapter so either it's doing something right or there's something severely wrong with me

I loved the first part of DEAD Tube up to chapter 54. Personally, this manga ended at chapter 54 when Machiya and Mashiro found his dad as the creator of DEAD tube and killed him the most fitting way possible. Each arc had a bit of mystery and a new thrill to it. The Rascal Arc being my personal favorite.

I've read now up to chapter 66 but it just keeps going into a loop of plans within plans within plans within plans and it's just so boring now. If you're interested in gore-fests, mystery and revenge stories DEAD Tube is a good choice up to, once again, chapter 54. Cut out everything after it's a good 8/10 for me, as it is it stands at a 5/10 with all the useless drivel.

I haven't follow this series since the end of that justice man arc and the whole deadtube neo business.

I'm surprised the story isn't over yet but hey, if the author believes there is still more content to tell, they should keep going until the very end.
Same! I also dropped on the Justice guy arc and just take a look again today. When I first start it was the most horterrific thing I found online as a kid, gave it quick re-read and it looks much tamer and somewhat... normal now. Personally, I think even though it's a combination of many degenerative kinks, a gore fest, a crime and ero manga, it doesn't lean into any one of those extremes. The thing I find pretty funny is that like a guy in the comment has said, the author imo, just make a whole arc about whatever he has up his mind of the time.

The vtuber thing, the super sentai, the stereptype dectective island,.. (heck, I think that the overused phrase "among us" was intended also) and now, I'm pretty sure the author took some inspiration from Breaking Bad when writing the old "chief" guy.

The artstyle never fails to deliver, each character always have pretty distinct look to them (well except for the fact that all fc'll just get naked and r*ped every 5 panels) and if they're about to stay, they'd look pretty cool also.

Story is there in a way, the deadtube boycott group getting bigger every arc, machiya getting a shorter haircut every 3 arc, new recruited allies with different talents (mostly how quick they can cut a guy in half)... it gives a feeling that mc is building a stronger "guild" for the final face off against the big bad.

When I first read I thought I'd be in for a depressing school drama, then a plot twist, where the tone of the manga is set about teenager surviving twisted deadly game, then the tone change again, then again. I think people find it's trash and should be dropped is because they're expecting a different thing from what the manga is trying to portray: a corny combination of degen kinks and fanfic of whatever hotshot floating around on the social media that the author found. Nothing to writes home about, but an enjoyable read through nevertheless.
