Honestly I wasn't that satisfied with the plot direction after early on. I wanted to see more of Machiya's expressions, but he doesn't really have a lot of screentime. It's too bad. He would have been really cute.

I recommend Dendrobates as a suitable alternative for a compelling male-protagonist-with-glasses and gore. It's pretty great.
