so he has already said no, i assume he finds something through space magic, much later to connect worlds as he wanted lots of chapters ago. i don't know why else a god like figure was in a door bearing only light in a painting and waving for him to come. yet he didn't respond so it would be a no from his part.

feels like the author doesn't know which people MC should fuck.....its really sad when authors add romance to a series but doesn't know wtf to do with it

Technically he did respond to the girl in the painting by waving back. She then beckoned him and he was distracted by the kids. When he looked back the panting was gone.

Besides all that, it sounded more like the call to return was more of an oracle message "direct voice to his head" kind of thing.

And as he said, his case is different as he wasn't truly summoned like a hero, and is not really affiliated w/ any of the gods directly.

I believe the girl is a separate matter related to a long standing mystery throughout the series.
