The hero is a bit over the top with how much of a lolicon he is. Knowing that Arisa is a reincarnator, how he acts towards her is a bit much. I mean it's a bit much regardless of that, but she also has the misfortune of understanding his nonsense. He should be forced to have dreams where Arisa is fully grown, slightly taller than him, with j-cup breasts and hips to match. What he is making them experience is no less than what that would be to him.

At least the hero is honest and doesn’t actually do anything to lolis….

For now anyway.

The whole thing feels rather odd. He's surrounded by hot-n-ready bombshells and what not but only has eyes for kids.
It feels like it's either setting up a future plot/story where this other hero will try to go against the MC in order to "free" the kids, probably claiming they are being manipulated or brainwashed and that he is their true saviour.

That or it's simply meant to make you not like him that much, as he's a hero from Japan fighting demons, not that different from the MC. So having him be a proud loli is a good way to make him less of an ally.

unless he meet a legal loli

You mean like the elf girl that MC has in his party?

Having finished the light novel. He's like this to the end. Just a weirdo who happens to be the hero. Lol

It seems more like he and his harem exist in parity with the mc. Where neither of them have a harem with members they would pursue, but for opposite reasons.

Based on recent chapters, I’d say he’s the latter of what you said. And unlike Ichirou (Satou) who is living on a god-mode, this is a harsh world. Hayato lost comrades to the demon and when dealing with humans he had to play the hero role otherwise it would make it more difficult for him, which is what he himself said a few chapters back.

Remember how the Lich advised Satou not to overuse his unique skills?

The hero's behavior is a side-effect of that.

Thanks for the mess upload, very happy to read it again and re-read the whole series while I'm at it lol

having been reading many manga/novel I gonna say this kind of thing is kinda normal in jp manga/novel, I mean there are literary breast-man and ass-man that would only focus on that area and almost completely ignore the other sometime appear in novel/manga, so the loli-lover that doesn't give a damn about grown up woman is not very abnormal for me

not entirely, when hero/reincarnator overuses their power, their soul couldn't withstand the power and turn them into a demon lord, but it's not like turning into demon lord will make them completely go mad, in the novel, we will meet a demon lord that retains their personality and helps out Satou too
and for Hayato even after he fulfilled his duty and was sent back to Earth, he still prefers loli more than his childhood friend, so I don't think it's a side-effect lmao

What point of the story is manga adaptation? Far from the end or close? Just wondering.
as for the manga adaptation, it's far, very far from the end lmao, since right now we're around volume 6 of LN and volume 8 of WN.

as for anime adaptation, the 1st season is from the 1st volume to the 7 volume of manga, but 2nd season is gonna be interesting, since Satou's next destination is Muno Barony, we will meet with Karina and possibly the first appearance of Nanashi.
