Oh god this "translation" is painful to look at. Whatever retard made this should be embarrassed.
Theres also been groups that have stopped for longer then just a couple months on a manga suddenly come back after some other group resumes said manga, and pushes the new group out cause of "sniping", only to go AWOL again after a chapter or two.I think people get harsh easily here, but to be fair the previous group's last upload before the current one was in February. That's not sniping, that's picking it up.
Couldn't care less about the "snipe". The terrible coloring and font though is another story. Spending time on something does not free it from criticism and what makes this situation really funny is that on top of being terrible quality, it also breaks the rules. Keep doing tricks on it though.Ignore the whiners, they like to pick and choose whom they whine about. You'll note that when the last group picked this up, there wasn't a single whine about said group "sniping" from the previous group.
I'll change the font in later chapters.Couldn't care less about the "snipe". The terrible coloring and font though is another story. What rules am I breaking?
I don't care about sniping. You said that people didn't complain the other group was sniping it when picking it up, and I pointed out that's because it hasn't been "a couple months" like you put it, Debby Scans has been overall inactive for half a year already. Just explained why it's perceived like that. Chill.Theres also been groups that have stopped for longer then just a couple months on a manga suddenly come back after some other group resumes said manga, and pushes the new group out cause of "sniping", only to go AWOL again after a chapter or two.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again and again and again.
There is no such thing as sniping!
Unless you have a contract with the creator, you don't get to call dibs on a mangas translation. And if you don't like a particular groups releases, then don't read them. But stop trying to push them out of releasing anymore just because you have some false sense of entitlement that only group A should be the only group ever to make releases of a particular manga.
Save the bullshit excuses to why other shouldn't make releases of manga already being released either. If a group is going to get so "despondent" over someone else making a release that they decide to quit, they never intended to continue in the first place and was just looking for a easy excuse to quit, while garnering sympathy points to boot.
Already add fan Colored to the tittle.Basically you either have to stop coloring or make a new entry and keep it colored as explained in the rule above.
- 2.1.6 Chapters that have been colored from a monochrome version (either Official or Fan Colored) should be uploaded under a separate entry that must be tagged as "Official/Fan Colored", have "(Official/Fan Colored)" appended to the main title and include a "Colored" relation to the main title. "Official Colored" means the work was originally monochrome and this is an official colored variant. Similarly, "Fan Colored" is reserved for non-official coloring of monochrome work. "Full Color'' means the work was originally in color, and no monochrome version exists.
- 3.2.7.2 Fan-colored pages not in a Fan Colored entry are considered extraneous and must not replace the original non-colored pages.
No, like, they mean you have to upload it under an entirely separate manga that's Debby The Corsifa Wa Makezugirai (Fan Colored)Already add fan Colored to the tittle.
That seems overdoing it.No, like, they mean you have to upload it under an entirely separate manga that's Debby The Corsifa Wa Makezugirai (Fan Colored)
Given that the rules do not contain a percentage or request an image analysis of pages, it really seems safe to assume that "coloring" refers to the act of "adding color to artwork"I'm changing almost nothing and not making a full coloring. Only adding a spot of color.
Well, one act is in the rules and the other is not. You can take any issues up with the mods.By that thought you can argue that you need to create a separate manga, when manipulating the sound/action effects from Japanese to English.
