The issue is if he runs away, she's rich enough to find him if she wanted to, or maybe just stop him before he could leave.
She has a real attitude problem for some reason. Drinking during the day, going off on him without even trying to pretend to be nice about the painting.
This doesn't bode well for the future the guy.
