Well, in the game he developed from which his 2 characters as well as his subordinates are from there was no magic.
So he could not put anything into magic defense.
Also his character was supposed to be the final boss / antagonist of that game if I remember correctly.
As such instead of "putting points into stats" that character was designed to have those stats from the beginning.

yeah thats what I meant. When creating the original he increased all his luck but not his magic. But you said it better.

The real-world equivalent... ironically wouldn't be crack, but heroine/meth.

Only because of the fact they called it "Dangerous", Crack isn't that dangerous. (Weed is worse tbh).

Like you have to OD on it to get adverse effects... which is the case for any drug. (Panadol is especially brutal, liquefies your organs).

But Cocaine? just a high with a dopamine spike. Relatively non-addictive outside the fact it spikes your dopamine.

Some things are addictive because of the feeling you get, emotionally addictive (porn addiction for example).

While heroine and meth are physically addictive, caffeine is also one funnily enough, although you have to really abuse it, unlike heroine and meth, you won't die from going cold turkey.

Part of the reason Cocaine is so bad, is because of the drug trade itself, not so much the drug on its own.
