A mistranslation is a mistranslation no matter how trivial. I'm just an average translator so mistakes were bound to be made. Therefore, I appreciate it whenever people point out something I missed.

In this case, the mistake might be a minor quibble but we don't know if that comes into play in the future chapters. The fact he's happy of getting out of there might be an important plot point.

Is “chain” attacks really the correct translation for what the hydra is meant to be immune to? If so what does it mean? It doesn’t really make sense contextually as all maou does is throw a knife into it to prove the immunity wrong. Maybe “piercing” or “stabbing”...?
