@Izaya_Onisai To be fair, she's trying to save someone from living the rest of her life in bed and he refuses to give the one thing that can help while not being able to do anything with it.

@Lavnaz True, but it seems like she won't even compensate him for them at this point. Also If they don't know what the scrolls do they may end up needlessly destroying them. If someone basically told me that I had to give up my most treasured collection of X-thing, I would be upset too. He has no obligation to save the FL. Yes it is the kind thing to do, but from his point of view there is no reason to. Granted that is short term thinking, better to heal her and potentially have a new connection/someone who owes you.
