Good question. Now if we take into account how his sister insinuated that she raised him (alone?) and gave him an opportunity to live in a human world, then maybe... it's just hard to transfer funds into human world? A real-world example might be transferring dollars from USA to Russia (or to North Korea / Cuba / etc.): it's possible but incredibly complicated due to legal and other reasons.

Well I’m assuming she doesn’t wanna spoil him too much but also we know the reason he’s scraping pennies isn’t because he’s short on money but becuase he spends it all on gacha anyway. If she gave him any more money it’s go straight to his mobile games instead of his food
