I like this webtoon. In general, I'm fond of this genre so I'm biased but I often stop reading halfway through because it seems like the author is just trying to cram the plot with whatever popular subplot there is and it feels like every arc is taken from a different story. However, this one feels coherent and there's no sudden change in character. Everything progresses smoothly and it feels so "real"

@vaseline magic emperor but he is not a transcendence being, he is still human and if you are lvl 100 drop to lvl 1 and still have skill but your stat is low then being thrown in lvl 50 raid pretty sure skill aint mean anything, it is realistic, better than most where the mc with low cultivation strength up wack someone who is 2 tier above

@thelatheday that's the point. He already have experience all his life. And the way he choose to get stronger is to do something risky that could get him killed, instead of chosing a sure way.
I mean, his power now is just luck. In the last fight he just closed his eyes and hope for the best. Like, nani?! 😭

vaseline . it seems to me that each stage of cultivation in this world is pretty long in contrast to other and if i am not wrong it never state he has the same talent in the new body so maybe he is impatient, and tbh he is also greedy the sand was not even his goal in the first place just sth he happens to pass by while trying to get the original goal the bird, well he is lucky but it is also refreshing to see an mc who know a lot but still fail
