The "I like you but I won't tell you and then get mad because it's your fault that you aren't a mind reader and confessed to another girl without telling me even though you actually did tell me all about it, and instead of supporting you at that time, I, your only friend, will also get away from you, but i still expect you to know that I like you even though I'm acting this way". Props to the MC though he went for it and it might be that he only got rejected because the girl was moving but now that she's back, we're gonna see her lose 😞.
Even though the MC is interested in the FL life, I don't see a single hint of attraction for her but it's chapter 1 so idk.

Seems like a great story. But Every. Single. Time. A Female MC ditches her glasses to “make a debut” is getting fucking annoying. Can we not have a romcom where the FMC wears glasses and isn’t treated like shes ugly, a loser, and a coward???? God it’s things like this that make girls think glasses = ugly, when they actually look cute when they wear them.

It's open ended. It kinda just ends out of nowhere. Imagine ending a typical cliché rom-com like 40% of the way through. Maybe less. I will say that there is an implicit favorite girl. I'd say more but I'm dumb and don't know how to mark spoilers.

I'm hoping they do something more with the manga. It'd be a nothing burger if it's a 1:1 with the WN. I think it'd be at least bit more intersting if the author fully leaned into the harem angle. Especially when the elementary childhood friend just straight up disappears for a good while for the sake of plot between MC and the tsundere.

New girl is Amaya You (from the front-page synopsis). Old girl was Shimazaki Hiyori. Also the hair style is quit different.
