The plot thickens. So his real body is actually half vampire? The flashback to when he bit his childhood friend is suspicious enough, but now we see that his mother is most likely a vampire as well judging by her fangs. The father referring something (the dive gear?) as the "cradle" is ominous terminology.

Story is definitely sowing a lot of plots points and mystery in this chapter. At first I thought this was gonna be a simple VRMMO game, but it's turning something a lot more serious. Similar to Infinite Dendrogram. Art is great, Crim is cute, and the story is definitely getting me hooked so far!

His dad putting him in a pod under the guise of testing a VRMMO game might be just a ruse to make him get over his trauma over blood. Once he gets used to the idea of drinking blood IN GAME, it's only a matter of time before he gets accustomed to it in IRL too.

Also I think Kou is both a human and vampire, with his human side being the male Kou, and the other one possibly being a female vampire, in this case Crim. Perhaps the whole point of the pod experiment is to awaken his dormant vampire self.

I think that was his childhood friend and not his sister. The biting incident in the flashback might have been a prelude to his vampire side trying to awaken as Kou goes through puberty. But because the whole ordeal left the MC badly traumatized it stunted his transition/development into vampire. Thus the need for the "medical intervention" by his parents with the whole pod thing.

Then there's also the question of what if the pod therapy succeeds and the human Kou transitions into vampire Crim. Will his gender change as well? Tbh it's too early to tell but it will be an interesting plot proposition nonetheless.

By the way, all of this is just a plot speculation on my part and I look forward to how will the author take this story going forward.

Hypothesis- his mom is a real vampire, that pod he's in is going to genderswap him into the body he was given in-game, and he was given that virtual body on purpose to acclimate him/her to it. The 3 months thing is probably just how long the process takes.
