Does she have full sensory input? I feel like she's had an arm cut off already (I think during the Desert Merrow fight), so if she does then she's got a pretty high pain tolerance, she'd be fine here imo.
Not to mention, either there's a mismatch between avatar + IRL body, which could cause the pain to be lowered, or whatever inevitably-gender-bending pod she's in has gotten to work already in which case the pain wouldn't be too much worse than just getting hit really hard.
i put the assumption that she would have full sensory since in the earlier chapters she showed a rather extreme reaction when being subjected to the sun in the desert... and that one time her arm was held by someone who was apparently wearing silver gauntlets.. it may be possible that the extreme reactions were due to her race weaknesses and may not correlate with combat damage being interpreted as pain, since it was pointed out that she did not exhibit a rather extreme reaction with her arm getting cut off.. maybe certain types of damage will have some of their pain nullified? since well, cant really risk causing actual mental damage when emulating pain with cuts, stabs, and dismemberment... in a vr game..
it may be possible that the pain she felt during today's fight was still mild, but with the mind's anticipation, caused an overreaction..
but like, even the mildest of hits to the crotch does hurt since its the sudden change of pressure to the organs that cause the pain, rather that the pressure itself...
