Let me guess..the attorney is a fake lawyer AND the one demanding the ransom, the gun is probably the movie prop....

Lawyer should have known the number is on badge so prob he is not an attorney and probably conman or the culprit of said ransom. The callous seems to have the gun I guess. Don't know much about the 2nd guy, probably prop maker?

I don't play guitar, but I assumed the hand that should get that pain would be the one that hold the snares.

So he might be the lefty person.

my speculation and investigation:

"Assistant Director" is lying badly. He doesn't know anything about working on a set. He got confused when they talked about marking the spots to stand on set, which gets used not just for safety but for actor placement for the camera.
All the stuff they're talking to them about is made to catch them in something.
Looked up "hidden gun" and it seems to be a detailed list of horse information that betters would read.
For the attorney, I don't think someone should have to know their id number, Kid got caught by memorizing the one of the cop he replaced. I think the "detective" is an actor, his attorney badge is fake. Probably all the real ones are that push tack type. Like small detail stuff that's illegal to replicate too well in costumes.
Ah.... the big catch there is attorney badges have their number on them lol
Thank you Phoenix Wright fandom blog.

Hmmm... Handguns and eraser shavings and pointing at own head with the left hand. It could just be they were drawing props. Artist was drawing the view of looking down the barrel.
Ah that means that's the "Director"? I've gotten thumb strain from drawing and you can get a callous there depending on how you hold your pencil. But what a weird lie if that's the case. Why guitar?? I'm going back to thinking those are gun callouses.

The paper might just be confusing be bc I'm confused that someone wouldn't know what posterboard is if that's what it is.
But why is there a fake bloody knife in there. The shirt could be just dirtied by paint but why knife?? You'd use scissors or an exacto for cutting. But I think that stuff belongs to "horse better". Tape and marker for posters.

Well that's as far as I can get.

You meant "strings", snares are what you hit on the drums. But yes, you can get calluses on your fingertips (left for right-handed players).

Ah yeah sorry, it's just in my native language, strings for guitar are called similar sounding name with snare. So I mistook them.

Oh, I meant when Eri talked about the tenosynovitis, not the calluses. I assumed that should be on the hand that hold the strings to form chords (sorry if I'm bad at describing it) which usually on the left hand right? Unless that person is lefty.

The cap guy is a mangaka and uses the guns as reference, and the director assistant actually had the fake bloody knife and shirt. The "lawyer" guy is a conartist who tricked someone out of that money.

Well, I think it's the other way around. The tenosynovitis and callus matchs quite welle with long duration of drawing, plus he doesn't semms to know the filming terms, so the fake assistant director would in fact be mangaka. And for cap guy, duct tape and marker could be use to mark position on set for actors or camera
