Nah, it was pathetic when she funded a stage play where the Kazuha counterpart is like the killer or an antagonist or something and her counterpart got together with Heiji..

The old case featuring island with detective showdown implies there is at least one for every area/city, and Kyoto's detective is Momiji herself, while as far as male teenagers goes there is only Okita from Yaiba, whose attempt at case solving leaves a lot to be desired.
Either way, I don't think any detective would like to be in position of having to pamper the princess for the rest of their lives, she is clearly meant to end up with her butler.
