Tbf, he's avenging his brother. And going to the police won't help. There's no proof. And who would even believe him? The only justice that remains is killing that old priest. An eye for an eye.
Second paragraph, I agreed. Remember watching this case when I was around 10-11. Always loved it when the cases involved something paranormal since I also loves horror stuff. Another one that I remembered is a case about mermaids. Can't wait to reach that one.

Lol it's cool, I don't mind at all. When I was reading through this series from the beginning, I was replying to one person as well until I hit the recent chapters.
I will say it is a shame that the culprit ruined his life at such a young age for revenge. Hopefully he gets a few years so he's not too far behind in life.

The brother didn't even want to avenge the death of his older brother. He just wanted the head monk to turn himself in. It wasn't until he ran his mouth about how the brother's death was profitable. The fact that he wanted Mouri (Shinichi) to have investigated the death of his older brother, tells that he really didn't want to kill the head monk.... Another day, another culprit I feel bad for.
