Sheesh, always a toughie when you need to understand foreign language to solve a riddle.
Honestly, that was stupid of the old man not to let his daughter in on the secret. to avoid involving the police, for one, but more importantly so she could spend some time with her father before he passed away. She didn't even got to say good bye... -.-
