- to bait the monsters so they turn into food. how will he do it? criminals as bait? isekai trap knowledge? it''ll be hard

- to solve public order. food + public executions + criminals as a bait? I guess he can kill the mercs to help with this objective and the first, but if he do it'll be far harder to do the third

-to restore the city after the crisis. will the city lord come back after he saves the city ? if he does can he beat the army? if he can steal the lord resources that s a start, but can he do it without the mercs? will he just kill the mercs leadership and take control? can he even control them?

all this without time to think and with mercenaries pillaging inside the city?

this is a D rank? mc is right this is fucked up beyond belief one can only imagine higher ranks missions

is the demon grooming him? because the missions are getting far harder ethics-wise and fast

you know this is the first time this manga made me really curious not only about how will he solve this scenario but how terrible will be the next missions

Might be a bit icky but probably better than cannibalism, plus there's also potential use as a fear factor against the besiegers

Pretty sure the monster is the best resource he had....monster meat, weapon, monster part or used armor for sale... Isn't that a gold mine in a sense? The problem is how he will process it into something he can use...

More invalid contract terms, isn't he already dead? The condition he gave for giving up his soul was SURVIVING THIS, but if this shady company has his mission, that clearly didn't happen right? And they've been waiting, for a long time, for someone with 3 perfect clears in a row? Can the company stop time or something?

How is his contract not invalid? He gave VERY clear conditions for his soul, and they weren't met.

Or is this mission somehow different, him still alive?
