Finally a scar that looks bad and not a small blemish that characters blow out of proportion and talk about it as if it is a third degree burn that covers half of her/his body. I am sick of that bullshit that happens in so many movies, manga and anime

This is why I surprised she didn't have a half decent mask. It's not even her entire lower face that is messed up.

Each and every chapter of this manhwa is so fucking good. Can't wait for the next one.

That motherfucking knight though... 😶

Doesn't she understand how trading works? Even if he has good ideas and some eloquence, why would she think he has massive amounts of capital on hand?

I thought for a moment that he'd self-destruct. Glad that my hunch was right that they'd bond over the mask.
Anyway~
Now his chance to:
1) regain favour and introduce his mask-making friend to the princess
2) use his eloquence to get the contract back - maybe even tell her what that group did to him. I wonder how the princess would react to that and if that would help get the appointment again.

But that guard needs some more training in patience and anger-management. He's trying too hard to protect the princess and hinders her instead. Sigh.

Looking forward to next chapter! This arc is very interesting but I get this feeling (again) that's it's becoming a bit too long. Oh! Wait. If the main scenario popped up now... maybe if he clears this military supplier contract quest, the entire mission will be finished? Though he still needs to find 3 more people form his merchant days- BUT hey, what if he needs all of his friend to clear the quest? I mean, friend #1 is great with masks, which is useful for not only Adis, but the princess. The main quest was given by the princess. So finding Adis' ex-coworkers is probably the key to completing the quest.

Now I'm really curious if I'm right.

It's probably because Adis has been talked about a lot by the nobles/influential people around her, or word of Adis reached her through gossip. With this "fame" and the fact that this merchant could sell "bad" apples, she'd probably expect a man of this caliber would have the money to back his skills up, not knowing he only recently planted his feet back into being a merchant.

i question what the necessity of the blue wolves subplot is like considering how all of the actual movement appears to be occuring now that he's moved away from them, but I guess he needed the loyal workforce.

Maybe they will come in handy later on for destroying Baston, idk.

@Pocky8 I think the "guard" has more going on in the background than we are being shown here; I think he knew Adis because of a connection through Baston or similar. There's be no reason for his actions disobeying the Princess and disrespecting her by acting out of turn when it wasn't a dangerous situation.

Otherwise, this is what happens when you power-level but don't keep your gear up to date in RPGs, lol.

@exxeld I think he will turn the blue wolves into his new merchant group, he managed to make them mercenaries, and even taught some etiquette to a few of them, later on he might make them in a full fledged merchant group with military prowess.
