This chapters logic sounds logical. Yet, it made no sense to me in the end.

Maybe it was designed that way to portray how women hearts don't make sense to men?

Feelings are never easy, especially when there's a relationship with a power imbalance involved. It's not about how "women's hearts don't make sense to men", which honestly sounds like a pretty stupid notion to me, and more about how even getting to a proper starting line was never going to be easy in any way given the deep imbalance in their relationship (employee and employer), on top of the difficulties Hufno naturally had to get through.

Though at least it's still a more healthy dynamics than the one Hadis had with his lover, where everything was based around manipulating him for his own gain.​

Sheeeesh. Honestly even if it wasn't the same Battle type story that we've been getting.
I still enjoyed most of it. Just sucks when the arc is so long and you have to wait so long for the chapters to make it out.
Love how long the chapters are though. Feels good reading a bunch.

Seriously though. That arc felt much longer than any other.

Nice break from the constant fighting to having to use your brain and emotions to complete your objective was a nice route to go with, I'm loving the author for the fact you can tell they have more short stories then an actual story line for the main MC...and I am perfectly fine with that since a lot of these characters actually do draw me in to their stories and keep me entertained...hfueno I hope you enjoy your reward 😉
