If he said those things in a typical ecchi, harem manga, it is fine but he said the same thing in slice-of-life manga that don't even focus on romance or manga that obviously won't have sex scenes and it is so annoying. Not everyone want to see sex scenes or men just jump straight into sex without develop a relationship with the girl.

Sweet and salty flavors tend to go together well, as well as umami(meaty, brothy taste) and most other flavors.
