As far as the war n graphics shown. Their equivalent during the napoleonic war era with keg n powder rifles still.

But their already sewed a weapon hundreds of years ahead of its time into their insignia?

@Dix14 Elise is carrying a double action Smith and Wesson revolver. Louis Nicholas was using a Beretta 92 semi-auto pistol. The have shown troops with lever action rifles to.

The technology is all over the place.


I thought the Republic was pissed off when they found out Louis Nicholas used germ warfare...how is he still in command and how are his soldiers still following orders they know are war crimes? I'm surprised he hasn't been shot in the back yet.

Also Elise keeps saying, the prince was not at fault in her previous life. Seems like she did everything she could to please him and he treated her like shit...so I would say he has plenty of fault. Will we ever even find out what her supposed crimes were, that were bad enough for her own husband to have her burned to death?

I mean, the gun thing is more on the adaptation artist than the author, perhaps. Without looking at the novel version, I can't say if the actual author ever specifically said what guns were being used when and where. Doesn't really seem like the kind of story that would've went into excruciating detail about the weapons in any scene. But even with very little direction on what to use when and where, just Googling random guns from any and all time periods and drawing those into a setting that looks as old timey as this was probably on the artist if anyone. Collective responsibility since a publisher and perhaps the original author took a look at it and okayed it?
