Poor Sasako, she didn't deserve that, but at least she got out alive, unlike that psycho mushroom (there are only crazy mushrooms in this manga! The crazier, the more chances to live lol). The song doesn't have much to do with anything...but i heard it while the mushroom was being murdered and don't know how to feel about it~🍄 🗡️

I think the reason Maitake's character had freakishly flexible limbs is because this species is one of the few polypore mushrooms which lacks a skeletal hyphae, the skeletal structure that makes the fruiting body of the fungus so woody and tough.
